State of the Wedding Industry

State of the Wedding Industry (SOTWI) is our version of a wellness checkup meets support group. It is an opportunity to hear from high-profile local pros, understand what is going on in the industry locally and globally and also connect with other pros through structured networking - all to learn where you to adjust things that are going well, overhaul what's not going well, and celebrate your wins with people who want to cheer you on.

What you'll get:

  • Insights about local and global trends
  • New friendors to support and collab with
  • Learnings from industry experts you can implement to level up your business
  • An opportunity to be reinvigorated and excited about your business, couples and the wedding industry

This is not a standard networking event.

You want to make sure you are there on time for the full program:

12:30pm-1pm: Registration

1pm-1:30pm: Welcome

1:30pm-2:30pm: Panel Discussion

2:30pm-3pm: Small and Large Group Discussions

3pm-4pm: Networking, Bites/Drinks

You don't need to bring anything except yourself, something to take notes with, and some business cards.

What People Are Saying:

SOTWI is the anti-conference and much more intimate format where you can actually have a layered conversation about business and set goals.

Annie Lee, Daughter of Design and Plannie

What a wonderful afternoon of sharing and community. The packed wedding masterclass is a must-attend. There’s nothing like a safe place to learn and grow. The perfect way to start the new year.

Marc Wilson, The Style Marc

Thank you so much for hosting another incredible event at Hotel Washington yesterday. I always love attending your State of the Wedding Industry, yesterday was my third and I have to say, it was the best yet! It was really something special! The hospitality, views and overall experience were top notch! The food was delicious and the setting was terrific!  I can't wait for the next one so I can report out on all of the lessons learned and applied!

Victoria Hamilton, VLBHCreations & Events

Described as the “Anti-conference” is the perfect! NO egos, NO attitude, and NO frills… [It] is pure networking at its core. Free-flowing, thought-provoking communication that inspires all levels of expertise to learn from and inspire each other! It was such a fun afternoon of camaraderie.

Brian Worley, B Worley Productions

Megan is the kind of community organizer you can't help but be drawn to. Her energy, industry insight, and genuine desire to connect like-minded folks initially drew me to participate in The Wedding Masterclass. Receiving such a warm welcome in a creative, collaborative environment free from the competitive undertones that can often plague networking events was such a breath of fresh air for me. Her ability to foster that environment is what has kept me, and so many, coming back for more meet-ups since. Having those real conversations with fellow small business owners has played an invaluable part in staying inspired and motivated through all the trials that this path brings. Megan is such a dedicated advocate for bringing us together and for that, I am so grateful!
